TAUver IL
TAUver is a Tel Aviv University's Space Club project, aiming to promote and make the Israeli space industry more accessible to students, and provide hands-on-experience planning and building a space rover.
The project goal is to represent Israel annually in international competitions in the fields of space and robotics. In its first year, the pilot goal is to become the first Israeli team to participate in the European Rover Challenge (ERC), which will take place in Poland at the end of August 2025. The project consists of about 40 students from Tel Aviv University across various faculties—Engineering, Exact Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, and more.

The Team
A group of 40 students from various academic disciplines at the university have come together to work on an innovative project. The team includes students from electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, industrial engineering, biotechnology engineering, computer science, geography, and mathematics.
These students are organized into nine specialized sub-groups, each focusing on a key area of the project: automation, structural design, computer systems, mobility, drone technology, scientific research and analysis, power systems, robotic arm mechanism design, robotic arm control and telecommunication, as well as systems engineering and project management.
This multidisciplinary approach fosters collaboration, innovation, and hands-on experience, reflecting the future of engineering and technology development.
